Teaching Practice

Having participated in two individual Secondary School placements as part of my PME programme, I have engaged in classroom observations, partaken in team-teaching and finally conducted my own teaching lessons.

Colaiste Eoin, Finglas, Dublin 11.

Coláiste Eoin was established in 1964 by City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee – now City of Dublin Education and Training Board – to provide second level education for young boys in Finglas. Over the years the school developed into a vibrant co-educational school catering for the educational needs of young people in Finglas and surrounding areas. Coláiste Eoin strives to create a respectful, safe and caring educational environment. It fosters effective teaching and learning in an inclusive community, where students and staff are encouraged to reach their full potential. Its endeavor is to support students in becoming self-confident, inquiring, independent, tolerant individuals who respect the differences of others.
